The fast answer is yes. If you are printing vinyl stickers laminating them will make your stickers waterproof. But you must print them on vinyl. If you print them on paper and then laminate them this will not make your stickers waterproof. Al the materials used should be not from a material that could absorb water. Only and only then your stickers are going to be waterproof.
I have been working for years to a large format digital printing company and also as a technician on large format printers i have seen a lot of laminating machines form an a4 printer to an 1.60 m roll to roll machine.
So you know know in order to have waterproof stickers you need all your materials be waterproof.
And the meterial printed on them and also you need to laminate them in order to have your stickers waterproof.
